I just read the article on the ColourLovers site about skin color and found it not just informative but unique. From an image consultant and make-up artist’s point of view, skin tone is crucial in color analysis to help me determine what looks best on a client. These days color analysis is becoming more interesting because of different racial mixtures which makes for such a beautiful and wide range of skin tones. There are endless genetic skin tone combinations and it’s fascinating to me that you can see many variations even in one family, as you never know what mix will manifest. But your best colors are not judged by skin tone alone. You must also consider your eye color, the whites of your eyes, and your hair color. Personality also comes into play as well. Discovering your colors is a fun process and I highly recommend it!
